I remembered what I was thinking about with regard to the other
levels. The terms that came to mind were "barbarism" and
"civilization" with regard to the social-biological interaction, but
these terms don't play the same role as authority does for the
social-intellectual interaction. They instead are "quality words" to
describe degeneracy and evolution between the social and biological
levels, so I don't know what I would suggest for a term analogous to
authority (being the key word in the social-intellectual code) for the
social-biological code.
