I think when were read about various philosophies they many times
wrestle with intellect and say many things about it.  I think it is
useful to recognize this as an undercurrent of SOM in current
thinking.  Pirsig did a tremendous service for all of by finally
catching SOM by the tail and then provide a cage for it in MOQ.  There
are a lot of Iconoclasts but I am not sure about it metaphysical
implications. It think it would have to many meanings and intellect
suit me fine.
