OMG! Krimel! I didn't realize. It's been on tv and everything? Why, how
could I doubt for even one second the holy conferring of authenticity by the
boob tube? It really is my own fault, my ignorance, for not owning a tv
set. THEN I'd have a firm grasp on the full meaning and truth of
everything, just like you. Obviously the secrets of the cosmos have been
unraveled by the sacred producers of nature television and I just wasn't
paying attention to this incredibly high quality intellectual medium.
I don't know why you even bother with me.

Depends on how committed. The witchburners of Salem were sure they had the
truth in their pocket. I'd say their committment to truth was a horrible
thing. A little doubt and a little humility go a long way in the search
for truth. Whereas dogmatic certainty is always a dead end.

And I see you already know everything because you saw it on tv. No problem.
I am used to that.

I don't get your construal there. I oppose the arrogance of the scientific
worldview that teaches malleable minds, such as yours, that the experts
have all the answers, that scientist can pin down the beginning of time at
4:19 AM, six billion BCE.
But now that I understand your evidence comes from Nova, I realize the
philosophical conceptions I could share with you regarding "the beginning of
time" are likely to be wasted on you. I'm not a celebrity so ignore me.

You know Krimel, I was hesitant to piss you off and send you away... I'm
sensitive about driving people away... but then I realized that I could
probably predict just about every comment and reaction you have. You
yourself don't think you have any freedom and your world is probabilistic so
I could probably generate a Krimel response anytime I wanted, based on
probabilistic analysis of your words so far and without having to dip too
far even into the archives, without the need for a "you" at all.
[Krimel]
Fuck you!

See what I mean?
