Ok Dan,

I'm headed out the door.  Lu's home and I'm soon off and away to Reno ...

Although, come to consider...  Most hotels got that broadband thingy.  And
interestingly, both my younger daughters got e-bay laptops with their xmas
money, that just got here today... so I'm probably going to be as online as
usual, if not moreso, in the next few days.

I am going to see Avatar.  And I'm gonna take my xmas money and try my hand
at some blackjack.

This morning was fun.  Lila's children all gave me lots to think over on my
long drive and you more than most.

In the Community Building model, there is a technique, a trick, that is very
powerful.  It's called the "gift of slience".  Its not as easily used in the
online world, absent of body language, eye contact, affirmation of personal
space acceptance... you know, all that human stuff...  But anyway, you pull
it off.  With you, the silence seems like a gift, not a hostile withdrawal.


Hmmmm...  Maybe I didn't mean that "your silence is a true gift".  heh-heh..

ah shit.  I never was any good at that whole "feelings" and "I love ya man"
stuff.  Marsha knows.  She nailed me with that "men.  Mention love and watch

I hope your present gets to you before you're off.  It's full of Chicago
Buddhism, not that sissy californicated stuff you hear so much about today.
