Steve:
If this is true, there are still some important differences. Though
Dawkins and the priest are dogmatically(?) opposed to witchcraft, as
far as I know, Dawkins never tortured anyone for it.

What dogmas do you think that Dawkins holds to? As a scientist, I
would imagine that he holds his beliefs to be subject to change as new
evidence and arguments become available to the extent that you and I
are open to being convinced of new and better ideas.
