All the levels have as evolutionary forces, the level above.  Societies do
not create Intellectual patterns, Intellectual patterns such as laws create
societies.

Societies create, nurture and protect biological entities, like when a man
and a woman in social patterns of breeding make babies.

Biological patterns create new matter, like when photosynthesis combines
water, air and sun into living cell structures, animals eat plants and poop
out minerals

And inorganic materials don't really make anything.

So what force from "above" creates intellectual patterns?

Quality.
