There are times, like I said before, that "preference" or "choice"
may approach near certainty, but if you remove probability/chance
altogether, then you eliminate freedom. You make the cosmos the
super-marionation show for the Will of Qualit-god, nothing more.

Am totally with you Arlo. As someone raised this before on this
discuss arguing that the more choices one has the 'freer' one is but
this is a total contradiction in terms. The more choices that are
presented, the less free one is (the logic of the wonderful dynamic
'free' marketplace Platt loves so much?)

Chance, freedom, is the creation of choice. It's Dynamic Quality at
work. Choice is SQ at work.
