John has mentioned Biocentrism and Robert Lanza before.  I bought the 
book but it's still in the pile next to my bed.   It was a good article.

I thought the term sounded familiar. I checked the archives and sure 
enough, I had marked that down as something to look into. This had 
totally spaced on me when I read this article. What's funny (to me 
now) that as I read this I swore I remembered John mentioning 
something like this, but recalled he had mentioned "Bioregionalism" 
in one of our political discussions, and thought I was making the 
connection that way. Apparently, it was much more direct than I was 
thinking at the time.
