My take. Not that you asked. But I'm giving.

This is one-part a major victory for the insurance companies, who 
have dumped millions and millions of dollars into lobbying efforts to 
block health care reform.

It is also one-part a victory for a massive disinformation campaign 
that pandered to fear and paranoia.

And, as its final ingredient, it is one-part a referendum on the 
unscrupulous tactics, and lack of transparency, by those pushing this 
legislation through.
