I read a book recently called the Physics of Consciousness.  The author
who was a physicist uses quantum theory to explain how consciousness
interacts with the material world.  While it can not be measured, it's
influence on the physical world can.  In a way, the way he viewed
Consciousness was similar to Quality.  The conclusion was that
consciousness does indeed create reality.  This is obviously
fringe, but there is a lot of quantum theory thrown in.  Perhaps one
can use science to support anything.
