The Zen position, if I understand it, is if asked the question, "Is there a
God?" or any like that is to answer, "Mu." Meaning un-ask the question, Zen
does not speculate or engage in "God talk." I think Pirsig's "anti-theist"
position is similar but includes both theist and atheist in that all talk
about God, pro, con, or in between is futile at best, downright dangerous at
worst.
