(The response was to no one specifically, following responses from you
and Marsha, not you specifically. Did you actually read the mail at
the start of this thread ? Did you actually read my last mails in the
finger painting thread ?) Anyway ...

So here again - Celebrity #2:

A rhetorical celebrity like Pirsig understands that celebrity (a
social pattern) might cloud his judgement in understanding things ...
so he chose to avoid it.

A scientific celebrity like Dawkins ... doesn't get it (and therefore
might be allowing celebrity to cloud his judgement)
