Bo you are misinformed.  I'm not sure how much you know about Buddhism to be 
qualified to make the statements you do.  Intellect is of supreme importance 
in Buddhism as with any lasting philosophy.  Buddhists are not a bunch of
people trying not to think, as you may suppose, it is a full intellectual discourse
on how to achieve enlightenment.  A good place to start would be to 
read the eightfold path, it is full of thinking.  Buddhism uses intellect
in the same way MoQ does, it is just a little more developed (so far?).

Just trying to educate.
