I've become very fond of gmail. I'm starting to use it for everything I
write, simply because it does autosave at frequent intervals and stores
everything offsite for accessiblity from any computer anywhere.
I've long had Microsoft on the same enemies with Disney and McDonalds, so
it's products are out of the question for me.

I remember Pegasus. I used it briefly, back in the old days, but I pretty
much stuck with good ole Eudora for most of my early years.
I have a paperback collection of short stories and I came upon one near the
end of the book, Why I live at the P.O., by Eudora Welty - which I'd always
heard was the reason for the name "Eudora", the main creator being fond or
especially struck by that story. I'd been curious for years as to what
particular quality the story had, to inspire the naming of a great program
given away for free.
The theme of the story is living at your workplace through family
disgruntlement.

Well maybe you should flirt with a gmail account. I've used it over dial up
and its works passibly well.
Ever used Pine? That's the sure sign of a nerd, extolling the virtues of
Pine.
