Hi Ant and other smokers of "Quality",

Ant McWatt comments:
Yes, I noticed recently (probably with the banning of indoor smoking at
British pubs in 2006)
that outdoor smoking gives you entrance to the largest informal social club
in the world.

Perhaps I am the last to hear of this, but in case not, I just wanted to
pass along some info. Last week a friend of mind introduced me to e-cigs
(electronic cigarettes). If you smoke and (like me) have never heard of
them you can learn more here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/. In a
nutshell, nothing is burned and no smoke is produced. The output is more
akin to odorless water vapor. Trying to explain the significance of this to
non-smokers is probably a waste of time, but let me put it this way. For
the first time in 35 years I have been able to go 3 days without lighting a
cigarette and I am not climbing the walls. The nicotine is still there, but
the 2000 other chemicals ingested with a burning cigarette are not. My
sense of smell is starting to come back, and now I understand why
non-smokers hate cigarettes so much. For what it's worth, a high Quality
event for me. :) Let's just hope the FDA doesn't decide to ban them.

Mary
