Great little article. A question I face all the time. Let me ad one more
factor in here. in the story we had:

A fourth element is left out here. The pimp, I mean the art dealer or
curator, the person who says "yes, this is art".

A friend was asking me about a Giclee print last week. I told him it was
a french word for ink jet print ( actually it's a derogatory word for
ejaculate).

So what is the difference between a Giclee print and an ink jet Print,
One you pay $300 for and the other you print on you ink jet printer for
$3.
The same difference between Escargot and snails. One you pay a Garcon $20
to put on a plate in front of you, the other you pay your gardener a few
bucks to dispose of.
