dee-James-da-Dewey-dum thesis that will make about as much
impact as marshmallows.

Hadn't it indeed been for a few of you we would have been able to find creative ways (a la MOQ) to discuss openly and in a mutually stimulating way the effects of Mr. Pirsig's insights as conveyed through the MOQ. You have chosen to stick to this hard-wired static pattern of yours and if it isn't for a few of us (including Mr. Pirsig) the MOQ will indeed go 'down in history' as representing nothing more than a soft, sloppy 'out-of-SOM extraction'.
