Very best,
Mary

Hi Mary and all,

When your name first popped up on my computer I felt an interest in
answering you about the topic you were discussing. I have no idea what that
interest was, but it has not slackened. Doo-bi, doo-bi,ŠŠŠ.doo.

I realize our plumbing is different, yet I feel an affinity for the way you
approach a topic. For me the topic of ³one² is a great stretch. In a DQ
undefined/SQ defined division of reality which 1 is reality? Mathematics
says SQ is true, 1 is definable. Evolution says DQ is true, 1 is
indefinable. Both right!

Evolution is DQ and mathematics is SQ, perception and conception! And
sometimes damned if I can tell them apart except by Pirsig¹s insight into
DQ/SQ. The 1 of evolution is different from the 1 of static reality as
indefinable reality is different from definable reality. Confusion reigns
until I realize that the 1 of evolution DQ is different from the 1 of logic
DQ/SQ. Metaphysics and computation do not mix as individuation is not 1
imho. Mathematics is not metaphysics!

And I am sorry for being so confused!

Joe
