Hey, I didn't know Andre was Dutch for Peter.

Although you bring up an interesting MoQ parallel in your reference to the
"little rock", Cephas. There's a passage where Jesus says to him, "And on
this rock, I will build my church." And the catholic interpretation of the
passage says its the man that will be the foundation, since Peter was the
first bishop of Rome, that led to all the popes since.

But his term "this rock" used a different formulation than Peter's name, it
was a pun, a play on words pointing to the real foundation of the church
which was the spirit that puts intellectual insight over social pressure.
Jesus had been bemoaning everyone leaving, and asked his disciples if they
were gonna leave too. Peter says no, where is there to go? And Jesus says
it could only be DQ that revealed this to Peter. If he was following social
patterns of affirmation, he'd have left too. And the Rock of foundation is
Peter's apprehension of DQ.

See the stuff you find in old mythos when read under the lamplight of new
realization?

HAH! I misread this Andre, just after thinking about your "evangelization"
and how to answer and instead of "Chris", I thought you said "Christ"! And
you know what? It really made it an interesting story. Christ coming down
from the cross and saying to his dad, "you're not very brave, are you.?"
Implication that a guy who sends his son to do his dirty work doesn't seem
too moral.

And then picture the booming voice from heaven, "But you'd be surprised at
how smart I am."
