Hi Mary,

As usual you have pinpointed the crux of the matter -- the value of survival
preceding
the value of self-not self. Appears to confirm William James' idea that, "My
experience
is what I agree to attend to," the value of survival being the agency of
experience.

Quality, the prime mover.
