I know this is your pet quote, and you use it to effectively derail
conversations when you have nothing to say.

But, I wonder about this quote.

Do you think he means we should sustain social patterns like nazism and
totalitarianism? What about the social pattern of slavery? Denying women the
ability to vote was a "social pattern", should that have been "sustained"?

What about cancer? Its a biological pattern. Should it be "sustained"? Should a
patient with a tumor refuse to have it treated because it is a biological
pattern and should be sustained? Or is it only human biological patterns that
matter? 

And if you want to kill all intellectual patterns, Marsha, then have a
lobotomy. I suppose that will serve Quality for you, eh?
