Hi Arlo (and Marsha) ... oh boy ...
Arlo, you attempted to say that Pirsig himself rejects Bo's SOLAQI
interpretation.
You actually quoted (in quotes) Pirsig saying that it "undermines the
MoQ" ... could you provide that reference (again). Humour me.
I want to come back to the "Kill all intellectual patterns" Lila quote
... which keeps coming back to bite us all in the bum. I also want to
respond to all the endless quoting from ZMM as if Pirsig's rhetorical
words are somehow definitive argument clinchers. ZMM was almost 100%
rhetorical, by Pirsig's own admission, but that doesn't mean Lila was
rhetoric-free.)
(I don't disagree with your interpretations ... I just want to clear
some ground.)
