Leaving the door open for disagreement, for sure. But not for an
"interpretation" of what he meant. He is clear about that.

Oh there is a huge difference between saying (1) I disagree with Pirsig, and
(2) Despite Pirsig's own reflections, he is too ignorant to know what he meant,
so my revision is what he really meant.

So again, Pirsig does NOT agree with the SOL, nor is it the MOQ he "meant". You
can disagree with him all you want, you can shout "Death to Pinheady
Interlictials" from every rooftop, but you can NOT claim the SOL is what "he
meant". 

Pirsig's MOQ = the intellectual level is NOT SOM, and the MOQ is an
intellectual pattern.

Bo's MOQ = the intellectual level IS SOM, and the MOQ is a new level atop this.

These are quite different. Face up to that fact.
