My ability "to make friends and influence people" never fails, but I 
constantly believe that people are concerned with the important 
issues and it was the "dialectics" that misled me to believe you 
wondered why ZMM describes the "dialectics" as a loss of Aretê. 
That Aretê=Quality we all know.

"My assertion" is written all over the MOQ and it is constantly 
gaining ground. For instance, in the beginning the SOM was seen 
as one recent intellectual pattern, this was while the 4th level was 
regarded "an exact equivalent of mind". After years Pirsig 
appeared and declared the mind-intellect to be faulty, and also 
said that the Greeks developed intellect which means that what 
ZMM describes as SOM is the intellectual level. If you 
understand the ramifications of this you will see that this is a total 
about-turn, but to admit anything ... and now all kinds of tricks are 
applied:  ZMM's message is not about the emergence of SOM, 
SOM is something from time immemorial (DMB). The first Greek 
thinkers weren't somists (Paul). It doesn't surprise me that I'm 
regarded some spoil-sport, so many wants the MOQ to be 
another NewAge thing, but it is philosophical upheaval and no 
one can be allowed to destroy it . OK now I sound like a 
megalomaniac too ;-)
