Morning Scott,

Interesting answers. I might be willing to go into this in depth at some point, not now.

Busy last week - didn't have a chance to read Avery, which I'm dying to do. Short enough book, I want to pound it in one sitting.

Later,
Larz

  Larz,

  Larz asked:
Scott. Is your consciousness relative? Better get straight on that.

  Scott:
  Yes.

  Lars said:
Have you not seen through the A/R distinction for yourself? Not once?

  Scott:
No, except intellectually. That is, I can understand *that* there is an A/R
distinction -- quantum mechanics and the nature of consciousness tell us
that much (that the non-spatiotemporal is real) -- but from my own
experience I couldn't say that it is possible to overcome this distinction.
For that I depend on Wolff and others.

  Larz said:
You seem to believe that characters like Wolff
are somehow absolutely different from you in psychological constitution. Do
you really have NO idea from your own
experience what he and other Masters are teaching?

  Scott:
I believe they have had episodes of breakthrough, of sanity, but that their
starting point is the same as mine. And no, I have no first-hand knowledge.
That is why I recommend that folks read Wolff, since it agrees with what I
have been able to discern intellectually, but goes well beyond it
