[MD] Religion is subordinate to science

     Who does anybody go to when they want to
understand a popular religion?  I wouldn't probably
find an answer from many of the people who practice a
popular religion.  Sure you may ask a priest or rabbi,
the latter is scholarly, yet, how many priests or
ministers know fully what has happened over time and
why they do what they do - you know the meanings? 
Their are knowledgeable priests, ministers, monks, and
rabbi's, but what of the people who congregate in
droves and masses to sing, and take part in certain
rituals?  Do they know what they are doing and why?  
     If there is a catholic out there or other
religious sect that practice good friday, then please
why when there is to be no meat eaten on that day (it
is that day right?, or one of them) is fish eaten?  I
thought fish was meat.  There is the argument about
which day is the sabbath, sunday or saturday, the
seventh day of the week.  Why is saturday on the
calendar the last day of the week and Jewish people
who originally practiced the sabbath, honor the
sabbath on saturday, yet, many Christian sects honor
sunday as sabbath?  Why is Easter mentioned as a
holiday in many Christian churches?  So on and so
forth.  I would like any practicing religious person
who is not a priest, minister, etc..., yet, goes to
church to practice these rites, please fill me in on
the meanings of these things that you do.

     Wisdom is knowledge put into action.
     Yet, what is action without any knowledge?  Not a
wise decision.
