I am referring to your Sat Apr 8 13:59:23 PDT 2006 post. You are mentioning
a literal God is from a mythology and that Christ was not literally here. I
am saying Buddha was literally here, and why after all the documents from
that time period do you need to argue that Christ was not a literal person
who was one with G-d? Any of the other questions I have are referenced from
your posting on the above given date and time. Any questions in particular
you have refer to that posting and my comments to that posting. If you have
any other questions from my posting please feel free to ask specifically and
I will try to clarify them for you.

OK, I went back to that Saturday post to see check it out. Correct me if I'm
wrong, but I only wrote one short paragraph. The vast majority of the post
is composed of about ten quotes from a variety of voices such as Joseph
Campbell, Ken Wilber, Robert Pirsig, Northrop, a book titled JESUS AND THE
LOST GOSPEL and another called THE JESUS MYSTERIES. And to make things even
more confusing, I don't think I or any of those quotes denied that Jesus or
Buddha ever existed. There is usually an advertisment in the back of certain
kinds of magazines that offers a booklet that "proves" Jesus never existed,
that the historian Josephus simply made it all up. But I've never read that
little booklet and don't know anyone who has. In any case, in terms of
denying the historical Jesus, that little unread booklet is the only person,
place or thing I've ever heard of.
I imagine that what you're really asking about is the distinction between an
historical view and a mythical view of Jesus, but misread one of those
quotes. I could guess and try to provide a general answer, but it would be
helpful to know SPECIFICALLY what you're asking about. As you know, this is
very easy to do. Just reply to the post you're asking about and don't delete
the lines in question.
Thanks,
dmb
