[MD] Speaking of fear campaigns

Hi Arlo, DMB, All, 

Run, run, run for your lives. The fascists are coming, the fascists are 
coming. Quick. Get out of Amerika before it's too late. The country is 
about to open concentration camps and start gassing Marx-loving  
intellectuals. Oh, the horror. Never mind that Marx and his fellow 
travelers were responsible for terror, torture, famine and massacres -- 
25 million slaughtered in Russia, 65 million in China, 1.7 million in 
Cambodia, and on and on. No, no. We have nothing to fear from Marxist 
thinkers. They love everybody (except conservatives) and have heaps of 
compassion for the weak, the poor, the losers in life's lottery. All 
they want is fairness, and if it takes murdering millions to attain 
such a worthy goal, well, so be it. No, no. There's nothing to fear 
from the left. The  real threat out there (besides global warming of 
course) is Bush and his fellow fascists. So run, run. You don't want to 
end up as a bar of soap, do you? But that's what those fascist neocons 
have in mind for you. Fear-mongering ? Perish the thought. Because our 
motives are pure, we leftists cannot possibly be accused of 
participating in a campaign of fear.
