     This was exactly my point, except you added
another element to my view that I appreciate.  The
writing of something two thousand years ago and the
search for its' meaning and correctness goes on and on
without any lasting, final stable answer.  This is why
Christianity needs a Zen moment that I mentioned
happened historically in China.  As you said, and this
took me by surprised and at first I didn't understand
it, but now I see the quality in your sentence above
that says, "While I breathe, wash dishes, feel the
sun, it has no meaning."  I was wondering what "...has
no meaning."  I saw it as the bible has no meaning as
I breathe, wash dishes, feel the sun... which is true.
 As I do these activities I am not hearing the bible
somewhere in the air being versed to me.  While I
breathe sure thoughts may come and go, but that's the
point.  Thoughts come and go and we are to experience
what is here and now not leaving us.  Change is
something that is happening and we experience here and
now, but to define change or dynamic is not going to
happen.  So we experience events.  While I wash the
dishes I experience all that happens while I wash the
dishes.  If I bring certain thoughts to this activity
do I have the clarity to experience washing the dishes
or do I become distracted?  So I allow myself to relax
and wash the dishes to eventually feel the sun as I
step outside the front door off the porch.  Is it
peaceful?  Sure... will pain happen... probably.  What
will I do?  Live on and notice the new heartfelt
leaves that have opened up since yesterday for today
is a new day upon this season of spring.
