I have experience many different versions of myself sometimes
spontaneously, sometimes at considerable expense. But however mangled,
they were all still me.

Free, yes. Appealing no. Life without constraint sounds pretty boring.
Don't you think that to some extent it is those necessary constraints that
inspire our creativity?
