Case I agree the Myxobacter swarming is much closer to mammalian
zygote development ... that's what's really weird (and interesting)
IMHO.
I put the example up for people who were sceptical that emergence was
a real phenomenon, not really to start a debate about the difference
between different emergent situations, between people who already get
it :-)
Oh well, never mind.

Imagine that: a discussion in this forum between people who agree with each
other. I thought there was a rule or something.
But just to keep us out of trouble there was this:

OK so you had your dig at the Japanese, Case, but that didn't have anything
to do with why I brought up Sun Tzu ... (I don't think the Chinese added
much to the Sanskrit either, except to "spread the Buddhist word" but that's
a different point again.)

Taoism is purely Chinese. It has nothing to do with Sanskrit, Buddhists or
Hindus either.
