I agree it is painful to submit to bosses, but it must be done. This is 
how society works. If we just go around doing what we like, society 
cannot function. Co-operation requires sacrifice and pain. We can't 
agree with everyone on everything, there will always be conflict.

Choosing a boss, although as you say, is ultimately a degenerate 
activity, still must be done.
