Thanks--I'm sure I picked up that kind of "spectral analysis" somewhere along the way.  It's an example of a general moral analysis:
1) Morally optimal (e.g., best possible world or greatest good for the greatest number)
2) Morally required
3) Morally good, but not required (i.e., supererogatory)
4) Morally permissible
5) Morally prohibited.
