[MD] Merry Christmas to you all

t'was the nite before christmas and all through the forum,
not a person was writing, only squonk and he bored 'em.

the blogs were all written in a hurry, without care,
in hopes that the readers would not bother there.

the posters were offline, all snuggled in homes
while visions of Quality danced in their domes.

and arlo in pajamas and platt in his cap
had just settled down from their long running rap

when out on the net there arose such a ruckus
that i quickly logged on to see what the truck is.

away to my laptop I flew in a hurry
my eyes were fuzzy and my mind all blurry

the spam in my mailbox scarce caught my attention
when i noticed an email i thought i should mention

it was written by santa - it came from bahrain
he wrote he couldn't make it as he'd been detained

it seems he's being held quite against his wishes
they told him behave or he'd swim with the fishes

i hit the reply and wrote him right back
he needed my bank account to mount an attack

i said sorry santa i think you're a loser
i think you're a thief and a horny old boozer

as i hit the send button my heart all aflutter
my cat in my lap started up with a mutter

you're a scrooge he meowed in the way that cats do
poor santa's in trouble and just look at you

but, i said to my cat in a hurry
its not really santa so please do not worry

you'll get your presents, they're under the tree
theres some there for you and theres some there for me

he jumped off my lap and on the floor he did alight
as he meowed merry christmas and to all a good night.
