Ant, Platt,

I've blogged a fair bit recently about Iran.

In a nutshell I believe "what we should do about Iran" is first solve
"the middle-east problem" (Oil-dependency & Israel)

Iran have declared their extreme anti-Zionist intentions, and we
should use the years it will take for them to develop a nuclear weapon
to find diplomatic alternatives to the real problems (Oil-dependency &
Israel) and to support less fundamentalist politics amongst Iranians.
(In the mean-time all the usual good-cop / bad-cop gun-boat diplomacy
applies.)
