Hello Mike

Iran must be getting assurances from somewhere else, here are a few
possibilities.

1. Their cousins ( the Shiaa ) in Iraq
2. China
3. Russia
4. Brazil and Venezuela

They know that a war with the US is a unilateral one. The US won't be
putting any troops on the ground it will just be another shock-and-aw
bombing campaign.

As for the latest political uprising, well a friend and I were having
that discussion yesterday and he wanted to know why? Well that would be
the same answer as the Los Angeles Riots after the policemen were
acquitted in the Rodney King beating. Or as to way sports fans do what
they do when their team loses. The unexplainable. Wrong, wrong, wrong.
Technically a Muslim should be offended the SAME whether that cartoon
depicted Jesus, Moses, Abraham or Mohammed. Unfortunately geopolitics
come in and it all goes to hell. It's a part of the world the west will
never understand. Just look at history.

They sure have the upper hand and they got 75 million to back them up.

I hope cool heads take over.
