No. I reject nominalism according to that definition. I hold that concepts 
are just as much nonhuman as human.

Semiotics is the study of signs and signification, which is to say, of ways 
that things mean other things. When I say "semiosis is ubiquitous", I am 
claiming that all events, not just human events, or those of more complex 
animals, are acts of signification.
