[Platt]
In other words, quality will eventually resurface despite the great vortex of
oceanic biological forces that threaten to drown us all.

[Arlo]
I dunno, Platt. From what I've heard of ol' Manilow, he has quite a "biological
appeal". What is Copacabana if not the grinding, sweaty gyrations of sexual
abandon? What is Mandy if not a serenade to induce sexual passions?

Your sentance, though, confuses. What "quality" will resurface? You mean static
social quality of the 50s? And, doesn't biological quality have value? I mean,
even if some songs are "sexual", so what? Surely you don't advocate the
Victorian prudishness of Rigel, do you?

>From where I stand, the "oceanic biological forces" are those that are thrust on
us by profiteers intersted in making a buck. What's wrong with making a buck,
anyways? If you ignore all the money-grubbers peddle, and look to many Quality
things being produced in music (across all genres), you'd let go of this
Archaistic Quest to return us all the "Leave it to Beaver"-ville.
