SA,

SA asked:
     What does tetralemma mean?

Scott:
Paul Turner, who sometimes posts here, has provided a summary in his blog.
Check out http://www.twelvelinks.blogspot.com/ and scroll down to Notes on
the Tetralemma (dated jan. 26).

Also, are you saying
once one gets rid of the idea that concepts are the
creations of the mind, then something else, other than
concepts, exists; which then results because one has
continued along a certain train of thought - which is
get rid of the idea of concepts being creations of the
mind?

Scott:
I'm not saying the human intellect does not create concepts. It does. I'm
saying that non-human intellect creates concepts as well, that creativity in
general, human and otherwise, can be seen as acts of intellect. However, I
try to take this in a non-theistic way. I am not saying that there is a
being that creates nature as an act of nature. More like nature creates
itself intellectually, consciously, and meaningfully.

If you haven't already noticed, this is not the MOQ. So if you are primarily
interested in finding out about the MOQ, please ignore all this.
