Correct.

Essence negates nothingness, not itself. (If I said that in my thesis, I
must correct it.) Actually, if we understand Essence as all that is, there
is no "isn't". So, nothingness is never really an essential attribute --
even as the absolute coincidence of opposition. I'm not sure what Buddha
meant by "suchness", but I think Essence is a pretty good synonym for it.
Don't you?

As I'm sure I've said, what is apparent in existence is things divided by
nothingness. The "wholeness" of Essence has no nothingness and is not
"apparent" (to us). In order for something to be made apparent (i.e., to
"appear") it must be experienced by a subject. In the perspective of
Essence, there is no subject/object division. Therefore, there are no
appearances. Essence is the identity of both subject and object -- ONE
ultimate reality.
Keep 'em coming!
