First your comment about the discoveries, yes eventually the wright
brothers would come along, under a different name. Yes eventually those
discoveries might be delayed but eventually they would be discovered.
Whether humans would come along to point gravity or light out, that does
not make them exist or not exist.
As for your question about the expansion of empires and asking about
Mohammed and Hitler, let me respond to that under it's heading
