khaled,
"Whether humans would come along to point gravity
or light out, that does not make them exist or not
exist." I don't know about this. I wonder how close
the bond is between a universe that has gravity or
light, and a universe that has no gravity or light.
Could either one of these universes have humankind? I
don't know. I do know that the former universe does
have humankind. Yet, as I pointed out in the previous
posting, if humankind went extinct then this universe
could still have gravity and light and if some
creature could realize this, this universe would then
be known as a universe that could not keep humankind
in existence (whether the extinction is chosen by
humankind or not that choice could be made here in
this universe). This does not mean humankind created
this universe, but I do notice a relationship between
the presence of gravity and light, and humankind.
Maybe the way we are approaching this discussion is
one of what you might call yours an objective one. I
am calling mine what is here versus what is not here.
I am just going along with what I experience happening
here (thus including what is here), versus what I do
not experience happening here (thus including what is
not here). If your position is what is called
objective (I don't want to put words in your mouth) I
can see that if we are not here gravity is still here
even if we are not here to name gravity. Before
Newton gravity was not named gravity, yet, it seems
obvious that gravity was still here along. Yet, I am
not arguing that the naming of gravity gives gravity
existence. I am just stating that without gravity in
a universe we might not be here. Therefore this
universe and all its' elements are in direct alignment
for human existence, and our existence provides
support that this kind of universe would exist, too.
