Arlo,

     Your exactly right.  I guess when I said Christ,
not Christianity, I meant the meaning of what Christ
said and actually enacted, the role model he was.  To
carry anything out I believe we do need to be
connected with the real meaning or message of what
needs enacted.  This then is what becomes the truth
that anybody anywhere could use, thus, it is a
universal truth, Dharma if you will, that no matter
who talks about it and practices it, it is what needs
to be focused upon even if Joe-smow over the next hill
says it and does it then we know Joe-smow is in touch
with the Dharma as well, yet, we don't need to worship
Joe-smow.  I think that is what your saying, right?
