 But I think you're right about the enemy's strategy because the West 
has no coherent moral stance. The different  views on this site and the 
political battles in the U.S. reflects our moral disarray whose cause 
Pirsig eloquently explains. So divide and conquer may win in the end. 
We already see the signs of the West's willingness to surrender its 
intellectual values with the advent of political correctness and 
worship of emotional "sensitivity" that stifles free speech.
