khaled and all,

     Remember, I believe it was Hamas who said they
want Israel gone.  From knowing you, you might agree
that it is both sides conducting the tit for tat. 
Iran historically supporting Hamas wants Israel gone. 
Osama Bin Laden wants Israel gone.  Syria wants Israel
gone to bridge an Empire from at least Egypt to Iraq. 
Israel is in the way of soo many people's desires.  Of
course Israel is not perfect and here is the problem
that I mentioned in a previous posting.  This region
of the world has been surrounded by strongly coherent
societies for thousands of years, and nobody has a
place to run.  They have to deal with each other.  The
choice is to made and archaeologically Iraq shows the
very first signs of War ever on the scene on this
earth.  By war we are talking full scale killing. 
This region is in a position, geographically if it
must be, to have to had to handle each other as a
people.  We see how they are getting along.  With the
earth running out of room to run, the world at large
is now closely tied and influenced by each other. 
Something between China, Russia, and Iran happens and
the United States, Great Britain, and Australia are
forced into a situation.  The 'one long question' -
How are we going to handle each other?
