Marsha,

     That's why I started the "Quality, Beauty, Truth
or truth" subject to be discussed.  I was trying to
open the door to a more focused discussion on Pirsig's
Quality and to maybe see numerous spin-offs that could
eventually come out of discussing Quality and Morals.

     As to what Ham is saying.  Well, recently I have
begun to understand his position.  It took some time
and I have read most his thesis, which I will probably
finish reading today.  All in the hope of
understanding where he is coming from.  Now that I
understand where he is coming from, it has come down
to a stuckness.  Something is stuck in his thesis.  It
is not connecting together.  Ham and I are still
discussing it, and he is trying to explain the
connection between his Essence and Existence with
Value, but it hasn't happened, yet.  
     Well, I am not here to talk about Ham's thesis. 
He probably already knows the difficulty I am having
with it.  Ham could work on it and maybe some day he
will have achieved what he has set out to achieve or
maybe I am not as insightful to a glorious thesis as I
would need to be.  But that would be another kind of
problem - distribution.  
     I trust the world is understood by us already,
maybe not in so many words have we described or seen
it, yet, we are understanding it.  As Pirsig might
have thought of it, Quality has been here, we just
haven't been taking it seriously.
