Agree. The intellectual value of the present day of SOM needs to be
changed to absorb Quality. But I keep in mind that change for the sake
of change is not necessarily better.

It takes both sides to agree to disagree. If one side wants to employ a
biological argument by drawing a gun, then the instrument of
conversation becomes a policemen or soldier with a gun.

I have no problem with just goin' fishing. Your reference to a bow and
arrow threw me off.

You have the possibility of influencing U.S. culture because free
speech is still constitutionally protected here. But, Bin Laden's? As
the recent cartoon riots illustrate, free speech is not held in high
esteem in a large part Arab culture. What's worrisome is that political
correctness that squelches free and open debate has gained a strong
foothold in Western universities where obnoxious speech codes have been
established.

Terrorists irrational? Yes. That's been my point all along. Terrorists
who initiate killing adopt biological values and thus on the moral
scale are no better than germs.

Yes, and I thank God every day for those soldiers who have defended
this country and in so doing have allowed me sanity and peace.

Mankind has tried throughout history to think of ways to avoid
conflict, so far without success. So long as there are those willing to
use biological means to attain their ends, there will be no peace. The
League of Nations after World War I and the United Nations after WW II
were supposed to elevate mankind above that level. You know the result.
If you have a better plan, please share it. I'm afraid just being
stubborn about wanting the killing to end won't cut it.
