Platt,
Platt said: "But I keep in mind that change for
the sake
of change is not necessarily better."
Agree
Platt said: "It takes both sides to agree to
disagree. If one side wants to employ a biological
argument by drawing a gun, then the instrument of
conversation becomes a policemen or soldier with a
gun."
Agree, in this state of society this is done.
Would it ever have to be not done this way? Who
knows?
Platt said: "What's worrisome is that political
correctness that squelches free and open debate has
gained a strong foothold in Western universities where
obnoxious speech codes have been established." and
you mentioned about he riots in the Arab world due to
the comics.
Yes, I understand and agree completely. The
political correctness is due to fear, and to have too
much fear in a culture only intensifies the tension.
The riots, well, those conditioned people may have had
some form of political correctness at one point in
time, and now look at where their mindset is. This
reminds me of a radio dj named Glenn Beck. He is
stationed in the Philadelphia, PA area. On his show
the other day he had a discussion in what he called
the Racist Safety Tree. You could talk about anything
associated with race. Such as, are black people good
at all sports more than white people? or Are white
people better entrepreuners? (a black person called in
and asked that second question) Yeah, when you called
into the show you said if you black, white, Asian,
whatever. It was funny, but no fear present. Black
people where calling in giving their suggestions,
white people, and some of the callers and Glenn where
joking that Asians might have a genetic disposition to
be smarter than anybody else. Anyways...
Platt: "I'm afraid just being stubborn about
wanting the killing to end won't cut it."
I'm sorry, but I have to try. Maybe the world
will have to convince me in a different manner. I
would fight anybody that harms my family, and I think
that many people in the Middle East are fighting
because somebody may have tried to harm their family.
When does it stop? Who knows? Its' like this saying
I heard once before. Round and Round we go where we
stop nobody knows.
You know I heard a very interesting interjection
on one of the Sunday morning news programs. Somebody,
who I believe is from India, said he is starting to
think that the mess in Iraq is due to a lack in their
culture to inspire leaders. Their culture doesn't
have the niche or mechanism to have leaders step
forward. India did as the British where leaving (he
called them Nijra's or something [I thought Brahmins,
I don't know]. South Africa had Mandela (the bonded
man made free man). Does Iraq have leaders or is it
more Isalm does and there is not really an Iraq? Yet,
all this talk about a possible civil war would be not
between Iraq's, I think it would be the whole rift
Isalm has had from day one duking it out. The
spiritual lineage of Muhammad versus the biological
lineage of Muhammad right here, right now, on the mat
called earth. Did I hear the bell ring for another
round to begin?
