Hello Khaled and Sa and anyone else who drops by.

Being the uneducated fool that I am, having an inclination to follow my
instincts, I have no idea what an oxymoron is. The dictionary I have is of
low quality.

Quality is Pirsig's insight, only he gives the power to that word, the rest
of us just feed off its energy, whilst using it as a concept when trying to
explain existence. To pirsig it is a reality, something as real as breathing
is to us.

What I find as an obstacle in "morality" is found in the following example.
The other day a women phones up and asks if I want life insurance, I said
that I was not interested "But Mr Bromley, you don't understand, "we" are
giving "you" 60 days free cover worth half a million pounds." In that split
second I failed the test and got sucked into a world of lower quality and
ended up saying yes. I am worth more dead then alive. As if monetary value
ecquates to the value of life. The money would not bring me back nor help my
family over my loss. This current trend of morality makes me sick,
everything can have a price, or so they think.
The word "we" appeals to your social instincts, but really it is their self
interest that they are expressing, no doubt some intellectual psychological
study pointed out such a cunning marketing stratergy. The word "you" was
delivered as if they knew who I was. In an ideal world you could sue these
pricks for invasion of privacy, that might stop them. However I have to take
responcibility and admit I was too weak for higher quality action, sticking
with the I am not interested. It is a flaw in politness that the hawkers
exploit, once they get the upper hand it is very hard to get the power back.
They had more quality than me, in gaining the upper hand, even though I knew
that what they where offering was of low quality. Caught off guard as I had
been in deep thought and a few psychological insights was enough to step in
through the door completely uninvited. I watched as I lost my integrity,
saying what I did not want to say.
The marketing stratergy used has quality, but it is bad, as it amounted to
intellectual rape, by trapping you on the social level. Morality can attack.
Morality can weaken. The effects as experienced by me.
I hope this helps your understanding of my point SA.
Regards Joseph Bromley.
