Hi Kevin,

You said "Ian, can I take this to mean ..."
I say, don't mistake the fact that I'm opinionated for being
knowledgable, nor that you need my position for any views you have.
:-)

You continued ...
"Quality's meaning takes shape in the process of searching for it?
That is, if one is
not interested in it, has no desire to explore it, wouldn't lift a
finger to work on it, then one will find no meaning in Quality. But
if one is interested in it, desires to explore it, works hard to
search for its meaning, then one will find meaning in it?"

I say, you make it slightly too completely mystical and uncertain.
Perhaps you missed the sense of "not fully" rather than "not" in the
definition I suggested. It's the leading edge of "dynamic quality"
that has this ineffable "je ne sais quois" experience at its core -
otherwise it's pretty well defined.

You also ventured "[The MoQ] is all over the place."
I say, a lot of truth in that. I think I've alluded already to the
fact that there are moves being considered to modify or add to the
MoQTalk environment to ensure "progress" can be made towards better
understanding - a few static latches to build on, rather than the
seemingly endless round of things to disagree on. It's possible to
have too much dynamic quality :-) (in a manner of speaking).

Ian
